When Truth Comes from the “Wrong” Mouth

Not long ago I posted a short clip from a Protestant pastor, Bill Johnson, saying something that sounded, to my ears, deeply Catholic:

“You don’t become humble by chasing humility. Humility comes from seeing Him.”

Within minutes, a woman replied that it wasn’t what Scripture teaches. She quoted Matthew 25, the Beatitudes, and reminded me that Catholics have the Sacraments, which “speed up our transformation into Christ.”
